These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ReferView. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ReferView.

1. What ReferView Is

ReferView is a marketplace where customers can book job-specific resume reviews, career consultations, and mock interviews from professionals. ReferView is not an employer and does not guarantee interviews, referrals, offers, or employment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Employees must be currently employed at the company they represent and verify a valid corporate email address.

3. Services, Referrals & No Guarantee

• Customers pay for the specific career service described at checkout and are entitled to receive that service, subject to these Terms.
• A professional may independently decide to offer a referral at no additional charge. A referral is optional, is not part of the paid service, and is never guaranteed.
• Professionals must follow their employer's policies and must not share confidential information.
• Buying or selling guaranteed interviews, offers, or confidential information is strictly prohibited.

4. Payments, Refunds & Fees

• Professionals set separate prices for each career service they offer. The checkout displays the service price, the 10% platform fee, and the total before payment.
• Payment is authorized at checkout. Wallet funds may be reserved while a booking is active; provider payments are captured according to the service-completion flow. This is not a representation that ReferView provides a regulated escrow product.
• If a professional cancels or fails to attend a booked service, the customer receives a full refund.
• Customers may cancel a scheduled consultation or mock interview for a full refund when cancellation is made more than 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations at or within 24 hours of the appointment are not refundable.
• A customer may cancel a resume review before the professional has started work. Once work has started, the review cannot be cancelled for a refund. A full refund is available if the professional cancels or fails to deliver the review.
• Refunds are related to service delivery and are not contingent on a professional offering a referral or on any hiring result.
• There are no recurring subscriptions for customers. Professional earnings are calculated from the service price according to the professional's tier: 85% (Bronze), 87% (Silver), and 90% (Gold and Platinum), before any applicable taxes or statutory deductions.
• ReferView may be required to deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) under applicable Indian tax laws (including but not limited to Section 194H or 194J of the Income Tax Act, 1961) on payouts to Employees. Where applicable, TDS will be deducted before remittance and a TDS certificate (Form 16A) will be issued. Employees are responsible for filing their own income tax returns.

5. Payout KYC

Before withdrawing earnings, Employees must complete identity verification (PAN KYC). Payouts are subject to a clearance period and a minimum withdrawal amount.

6. Service Concerns

If a customer believes a paid career service was not delivered as described, they may contact ReferView through the platform. We will review available evidence and apply the refund terms above. Referral decisions and hiring outcomes are not grounds for a service refund.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Misrepresenting your identity, employer, or eligibility.
• Sharing confidential or proprietary employer information.
• Circumventing ReferView to avoid fees.
• Harassment, fraud, or any unlawful activity.

8. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or create risk for other users. Funds associated with fraudulent activity may be withheld pending investigation.

9. Limitation of Liability

ReferView is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReferView is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost opportunities, or hiring decisions made by third parties.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ReferView shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
